In general Nancy news, Comics Beat have listed their best comics of 2018, but only one newspaper strip made the cut:
“Just as Frank Miller shook up Batman with Dark Knight Returns in the 80s, Jaimes reinvented Nancy for the wired generation, and by extension shows that legacy comic strips can still be funny and relevant. Purists were horrified, haters were outraged, but regular people were just laughing. Most impressive of all, Jaimes kept her real identity a secret in the face of interviews, publicity and even an appearance at a con.”
While I have actually heard of this “under-the-table” sharing of Netflix accounts…. I guess I am too nervous, or I am becoming a luddite, or I am too damn much of a penny-pincher…. but I have not yet ventured into the land of Netflix.
Every once in a while I notice in some ad or some entertainment article or other, a show or film that is available on Netflix and it piques my curiosity. But, I try to dismiss that idea from my mind as quickly as I can… I keep thinking I have too many under-utilized electronic choices and electronic gizmo options already. And, push-comes-to-shove…. I have been thinking that even with the under-utilized array of gizmos… I may be TOO plugged in still.
Sometimes I contemplate venturing forth in a life unplugged, pipe in hand, to a more Thoreau-ian “Walden” sort of existence… the appeal there is sometimes strong.
But, how the hell would I then keep on on the New Nancy?!?!?!

What would be fun is if that was really OJ’s password for Netflix. But now we need to find out what the log in name is.
