    @Number Three Today’s strip is as usual a rehash of a theme , our Hero Mr Andrew Capp has been married to Flo long enough to know that she can’t cook if her life depended on it :o) am I right? my avatar today is of our Calico queen cat Bella as a baby kitten sitting in a tiny container that would not fit her head today , how was your Finally Friday? Ours should be busy but calm , I am going to try to go thru hundreds of photographs , some that belonged to my dad and try to get rid of any that I don’t want and try to digitize the best , wish me luck , take care pal BCNU

    I was in the U.S. Navy. And we had mystery meat several time a week. Also, at one naval base, they the “cooks” managed somehow to make grainy burnt Jello one day.

    @ TEMPLO S.U.D.

    You could have mentioned Fanny Craddock or Delia Smith.

    Both their gravies used to move about.

    Andy, consider it a challenge, possibly something like a jigsaw puzzle. (Then again, you would need a jigsaw to cut through Flo’s food!)

    @Afficionado

    I won £53 at bingo today and my Auntie won £7.50 because there was another claim for £15.

    We shared it out between us.

    There was a mix up with the dates of my volunteering. I am back on the 3rd January and not the 10th.

    How long did it take you to sort all those photos?
