Especially when the funeral is in a bullfighting arena.

Maybe they’re bidding a final farewell to a lumberjack.

How can I guy own ONLY a red plaid sports jacket? Better to go in a sedate polo shirt & slacks. Believe me, I’ve seen a lot less formal than that at funerals.

At least he’s not going in wearing a T-shirt, blue jeans, cowboy boots, and wearing a baseball cap backwards – which is what I saw a lot of at my cousin’s funeral………..”Me” and the preacher were the only two in attendance wearing a jacket and tie. (I guess I’ve lived too long.)

cdward - It’s not the only one he owns - he said it’s the only one he owns that fits.

An old friend of mine said he went to his grandmothers funeral and one of his uncles walked into the church during the service with a beer in one hand and the remainder of the six-pack in the other.

I wore a blue & white, horse blanket, poncho to the last one. It was his favorite poncho & no one else thought that he should wear it.

I, my younger son, and about 15 of my elder son’s friends all wore guayabera shirts to my son’s funeral as those were his favorite shirts to wear because of all the pockets in them. I even gave some of his friends some of Mike’s shirts to wear if they couldn’t find one to fit them.
