There were storytellers on the radio in those days. Along with soap operas, comedy, and some very, very scary horror shows. Because any monsters you imagined stayed with you!!

Figures I’d see this strip just before the 35th anniversary of the first “Nightmare On Elm Street” movie.

Interesting that he appears to be eating in the family or living room instead of at the kitchen table.

Believe me when I tell you, there was NO TROUBLE falling asleep. We never came in the house til the street lights came on! Kids today are lazy and glued to their X-Boxes, and or cells, just like their PARENTS! BOO HISS

Charlie Brown will have good dreams, I hope. Not nightmares.
