I think about this comic every time I have the hiccups. If it starts to bother me, I just think “well, is there anything else I’d be doing?”

There was a guy who just couldn’t stop hiccuping. He tried everything, but it lasted for years.
Must be a nasty case to make Linus jump into the air like that!
One day I was at work & got a mean case of the hiccups. One of my customers said to me, “Think of the one you love the most.” I was a newlywed. Worked like a charm.
Well, he’s doing a dandy job of levitation…

That was back in the day when mothers put bourbon in their baby’s formula to “quiet” them. The “Good Ol’ Days”…
