$25 sure was a lot back then
That’s the sad thing about being the youngest of 10. My “new” trike was only “new” to me. Along with most of my clothes, except shoes because I needed orthopedics. I still feel vaguely guilty when I spend money on myself.
My father paid $20 for me to play football in the 70s, so I felt obligated to play through my injuries. It made me the man I am today.
Mmmm, concussion syndrome…. drool
Ride it to the football game.
That’s almost $250 today!!!! Must be a great tricycle!
Guilt can be a powerful motivator.
Maybe your ol’ Dad is taking you for a ride, eh CB? Thought about that? :D
You’re a good son, Charlie Brown. Someday you will be a good man, Charlie Brown! See what I did there?
Oh no… are they rerunning that darn “Great Pumpkin” show yet again??!?
