Picnic school ???

I was a complete flop in nap taking as well. Hated that time of the day.

I hated nap time in kindergarten. Sixty-some years later and it’s my favorite time of the day!

Lucy already graduated, with honors, from Nitpick School.

I saw a woman in a store with a t-shirt that read “Dear naps, I’m sorry for hating you when I was young.” Truth.

And like magic all the kids get into the same grade a few years later. And like Big Nate seem to get stuck there for the next 40+ years. And now that Sparky is dead, it seems they will forever stay there. (Except for an unlicensed one off Japanese manga published about 10 years ago and only sold in Kyoto for about a week)

Of all you learn here, remember this the best

Don’t hurt each other and clean up your mess.

Take a nap every day, wash before you eat,

Hold hands, stick together,

Look before you cross the street.

Wait, you get graded on nap taking in picnic school? I would have thought you were graded on eating, making sandwiches, making, hot dog grilling, hamburger grilling, corn grilling, chicken grilling, salad making, chips and dips, packing a picnic basket, when to use picnic blankets, fending off Yogi Bear (ok, that mjight be a little too late for today’s strip). Nothing to do with napping.
