Our dog does a variant on this. Loves for me to throw the ball, chases after it, then just leaves it on the ground once it stops moving. The “fetch” part of the game sometimes seems to be forgotten. Other times she fetches beautifully. I never know which mood she’s in when she brings me the ball to start the game.

I know the feeling chuck… only my dogs pesters me while I play a game or doing work in the kitchen.

Looks like Snoopy instead of being a beagle is more like my Jack Russell Terrier except she would play fetch all day, even with snow balls until she starting shivering.
