She’s being restrained here, she could have started arguing that he hasn’t or something.

Years and years later, Calvin and Hobbes attempted to make an enormous snowman. They stopped after one ball when Calvin exclaimed nine more were needed for the toes (Hobbes angrily crams Calvin into the lone ball).

You’ll need all the snow for that… and might still be not enough.

When Linus gets older he would be able to make a bigger and better one!

I don’t know if it was intended, but the snowman’s expression in the last panel sells the joke.

Good job, Lucy!

There was one built in Maine that was just a few feet shorter than the Statue of Liberty. (Not including the statue’s pedestal, I assume.)

Its arms were evergreen trees, and its eyebrows were skis. It’s hard to be sure from the photo, but I think the buttons were tires. Possibly tractor tires.

Remember, Lucy’s only 3’ tall here…

Van Pelt has a point there.

Lucy is the centre of her universe. Which means that everything is forever moving away from her.

I usually get the same reaction when I tell a friend I’ve reached a goal. If your friend isn’t there for your personal milestones they’re not very good friends. Lucy is something like 5 here?

We’ll give you that…..

And of course it is all about you Lucy.

That’s really all that matters, Lucy. I hope you remember that as you’re growing up.
