Perhaps you should take Lucy to the grocery store, Charlie Brown, and her a cantaloupe in the produce area.

Lucy doesn’t care about facts or logic, Charlie Brown, she just wants to be under your skin

There was an episode of The Alvin Show(1961) in which Dave Seville and the Chipmunks kept getting the words antelope and cantaloupe mixed up.

She must have been thinking of antelopes, which are animals. Antelopes are when two ants sneak off to get married.

    Lucy’s arguing like a politician.

Trouble is, I can’t tell if politicians argue like children, or is it that they never grow up, and that’s their natural debate style…?

Yeah, sounds exactly like someone I know. They hate being proven wrong too. But I haven’t been insulted for it, nor anyone else I know who has proven them wrong. Instead either they deny having said anything or they yell and scream how the correct info is wrong.
