In the year 2454, giraffes will be green, If I’m wrong, who’ll know the difference?

I personally color them brown.

I once had the privilege of patting a giraffe. I thought its skin would be fuzzy and warm but it was smooth and cool, rather like human skin, with no feeling of hair at all. It was a very hot day, but the giraffe was cool to the touch.

I have a stuffed giraffe that’s blue with black spots. It’s a Dakin Dream Pet.

In one of the state parks in Georgia (U.S.), instead of zebra crossings for pedestrians, the park has orange stripes painted on brown pavement. I started calling them “giraffe crossings” and my family and friends continue that to this day.

Zager and Evans come to mind “In the year 2525, if man is still alive” good old song!

This must have been a 50’s version of a meme.

Perhaps he’s assuming the likelihood that Giraffes will be extinct by then.

Kids can be so mean. Who cares what colour he uses in his colouring books??

Interesting timing of this considering the gafree that was born in Tennessee.

In 500 years, people will think giraffes were green because of Linus’s drawing.
