Here in Ohio, it’s only mid-October, and the temperature has bottomed out into the 40s. All my leaves are still in the trees, and my lawn has a full layer of acorns on top of it. I’m going to be raking leaves in Janurary.
I had never thought about how a snowflake melting on a sidewalk might seem like it was passing through. Another example of how Schulz’s occasionally surreal humor can help the reader see the world in a different way.
