    If he’s the owner and/or manager I’d consider his talk (in panel 2) as a blatant lie. It’s obviously meant to deceive his customers. I would gather my clothes, pay the minimum I have to for whatever service I’ve got until then, and NEVER return to him.

    And tell my thoughts to whoever might ask me about his business. I hate people that divert the goodwill of others from the needing into their own pockets. Don’t get me started on churches…

    Makes as much sense to tip the owner as it would the staff he can not afford to hire. I.. don’t think tips should be an option on any bill.. The price is the price.. the service provided may or may not bring back repeat customers and thus the profitability of the enterprise and wages to its workers.

    This is dead on, it drives me crazy when I go to a fast food restaurant and the credit card receipt has a tip line on it.
