I’m looking at the cover for Big Nate: Payback Time at the bottom of my screen, and I’m thinking: This cover looks really… lame.

Frankly I’m getting bored of the weekday strips and from now on, I’m only going to comment on sundays, But I will continue to comment on the spanish version “Nate El Grande” For the sake of practicing for school, I’m also going to contribute to the wiki much less often, I hope you understand

Not the worst excuse I ever heard. I gave my 8th grade science class a writing assignment; five pages with in text references on a earth science subject. Of course I always ran each assignment through software (Turnitin) that detected plagiarism. One student’s assignment was plagiarized from beginning to end. When I talked to the student about that, he said he must not have understood the assignment. :-D I made him rewrite it.

Why not just say Uncle Ted?

Had Nate thought this through, he could have said, “Uncle Stan is my great uncle.” Or he could have said that Stan is a close family friend and he thinks of him as an uncle. Or he could have even said that Uncle Ted is gay and Stan is his new husband. Nate didn’t think it through.

What the- I thought Mr. Galvin forgot about Nate’s dad, as expressed in a comic some years ago. It was apparently Nate did’s “saddest day ever”. Remember?
