We just go 10" of snow and 15F lows for the next 2 weeks. This is the first sledding winter in years.

Calvin needs a new racing team!

Those that do, sled. Those that don’t, watch.

In the ’80’s and early ’90’s it was hard enough to get air bags in cars, let alone sleds. These days, I wouldn’t be surprised to find a sled with an air bag. How the world has changed.

Toboggans unsafe? Oh, come off it.

Back in 1949 my grandparent gave us an ancient 12’ long toboggan. My parents were afraid I’d get hurt using it & gave it to one of the kids in my Allentown PA neighborhood.I had rides on it anyway along with about 6+ other kids it carried. Steering was hard lifting on ropes one each side,while riders had to lean as a group for turns. Going down a steep hill towards a creek between trees on ice crusted snow was the most fun. Never got hurt, but had to ask the kid who was given the toboggan for a ride.

I think there’s a reason Calvin is the only kid sledding on these hills.

Discretion is the better part of valor.

Just not a Takata air bag.

Must of been pretty bad Calvin was on a toboggan not a sled and it smashed to smithereens.
