I remember buying a picture from a street artist who used plates to make “planets”, then airbrush the colors on them. Very beautiful combinations. While each one was “original” because he made it on the fly, he used the same idea over and over again. And he made it in a few minutes in front of us. Though if I had caught him pulling off a “made in china” tag before hand, you’d understand if I became a little upset.
I would think that John would at least be interested in what she paid for it. Maybe tomorrow we’ll see that and there may be trouble brewing.
I have a painting of the gateway to Old Quebec City that was done by an artist on the spot. It’s original but done so many times that it’s almost a “paint-by-number” work. Still it’s a nice souvenir.
