If she ever read To Kill a Mockingbird, she might like the mud-and-snowman Jem and Scout made when they had a very rare dusting of snow. But I don’t think she’d like what Scout called it! (Hint: GoComics’ Nannybot would definitely bleep it out!!)

Had this same conversation at work. If the person telling the joke is same as subject in joke (Asian or Black for example) then the joke is funny….But if the person telling the same joke is white, for example, then that person is a RACIST - and so is that joke! Rush made the same Opinion and everyone agreed, Sad really. Why can’t you tell a joke if its funny? I don’t mean BLUE or DIRTY, I mean, just say: “I don’t care who you are thats a funny joke.

Just goes to show that young kids echo what they hear their parents say at home…this child is far too young to be so blatantly focussed on racist symbols.

Dean is really a wonderful American kid with a broad acceptance of all types of people. He must have great parents.

Isn’t snow normally white? Wouldn’t making snow black be like a white person putting on black paint? Don’t caucasians get in trouble for “black face”?

I don’t know, People will complain about the strangest stuff. Saw a very good presentation the other night by a high school kid on the 1930’s and the dust bowl, and had an older gentleman complain it did not have he everything he cared about in it. It was a 20 minute video, and one of the first the student had put together.
