Found a car repair bill from 2010 in a book from “Friends of the Library”. I’m tempted to go see this guy and see if he still remembers the book.

I always save a few advertising blow-ins from magazines to use as bookmarks.

I use old admission tickets and luggage tags from previous cruises. Luggage tags are really nice – because they are big and colorful – that’s where I do most of my reading. My bills only go in one place – in my office area at home.

I’ve been known to use a $1 bill for a bookmark more than once. I had more than 250 cookbooks until when we decided that we were going to move. Sold some and donated some but still have a bunch.

I do that all the time! I have a book mark probably 35 years old. It has 3 frogs sitting on lilypads it says “We was “toad” to wait here.”

I totally did this with my monthly train pass yesterday! I thought I lost it, and was about to buy another one. Thankfully, I found the pass in my book as a bookmark.
