I guess the classics “Rock-A-Bye Baby” or “Hush, Little Baby” are too classic. If I were to sing a song to a baby that isn’t a nursery rhyme, I’d probably do John Denver’s “Sunshine on My Shoulders.”

I wouldn’t sing a song about the British civil war to a baby, nor a song about the plague (Ring around the Rosie).
The songs in my heart are usually praise and worship.
