    Funny dice are usually rigged by having one corner be either hollow (light) or weighted (heavy) changing the odds of which sides come up. Playing with the edges is too easily detected.

    He’s not wrong. Even without loading the dice, the house always has the advantage. In the long run, they can’t lose. Or, to quote an old computer game, “Ah, my bread and butter. Bored rich people with a poor grasp of probability and statistics.”
