the 4th word we missed today is “Genoa”, for those keeping score at home.

I spent most of yesterday afternoon reading the Wiki description of W&P because of pausing to read some of the history and the side explanations for unfamiliar terms such as gematria and dvoryanstvo etc.

My spell-check does not recognize those correctly spelled words either.

Who doesn’t like a good bedtime story?

Not good to horde all that knowledge to yourself, Snoopy!

“Genoa” is word #4 in War and Peace.

For me it was Moby Dick. I’d get as far as “Call me Ishmael”, bust up laughing and have to start all over.

And now we are getting to what this classic arc is really about.

With my lousy short-term memory, I could never read something like this. I’ve already forgotten what the first word was.

Maybe Woodstock could read over Snoopy’s shoulder, then nag him about turning the page.

Seldom see Snoopy frowning. And looks to skinny a book…the Golden Book version?

I hope he read the script more quickly than this when he performed “War and Peace” at Pawpet Theater.
