Grrrr, happens to me too ! Or, the rep you’re talking to can’t handle your problem, and transfers your call to someone who presumably CAN. The new rep has to have you repeat everything AGAIN. They have no clue what you just told the last rep.
Well yea you have to repeat…legal & security concerns keep us from capturing but the account type tells the system where to route the call. So if you are willing to pay 5 times as much for our products…we can have a person waiting on your every call…
The one I really like is after talking to a rep and giving him/her all the details, they say they are transferring my call to a specialist. And I hear them pushing buttons and then on-hold music, and then “click, click”. And then after a few seconds, a woman’s voice is heard, “If you would like to make a call, please hang up and then dial the number.” … CLICK

Directv says at the beginning by recording that they have your phone number. Then when you finally get someone, they ask what is your phone number?

I always try pounding on 0 first. That used to work quite often but they’re onto to it now.
