This is correct. The young Princeling can make his eyes just as stern as they’ll go, but if he disagrees with President Roosevelt’s assessment, he’s just out of luck. Stern eyes do NOT take precedent over objective reality.
That said, Jango Fett was ALSO not an interesting character. I would go so far as to say that the ridiculous and embarrassingly attention-seeking symbol that Prince adopted as his legal name for a time was a more interesting character than either of those two.
