Drawing a few themes together here, I see.

People like to say that Nancy’s is an attitude held only by millennials, but really, all children think like this and have always thought like this.

Nancy wants to be famous for being famous, like Paris or a Kardashian.

I’m not one to moan crappy jeremiads about kids these days, but legit many kids these days are pining to become e-celebs – the desire to become YouTube famous and retire on ad revenue, etc. Ofc, this is just a manifestation of behaviour of kids in recent history; desire to become pop stars, celebrities, etc.

Didn’t Fritzi want to be famous? Didn’t she move to California to be an actress or something? I wonder what she does for work now. My guess: she is the fixed assets manager at a small private equity firm.
