Only a True Detective can solve this case.
SPOILER ALERT….
Don’t read the rest of this if you still want to figure it out…
I’d never heard of it, but I Googled “True Detective,” the source of the quote Alexi linked to, and found out it’s a TV series….
The fellow in this strip is a character in “True Detective” who said “time is a flat circle”,
meaning everything happens repeatedly or simultaneously, or something…
I can supply the other piece of the puzzle:
Circle-K is a chain of convenience marts, similar to 7-11, if you’re familiar with those.
Ha ha?
Kinda keeping quiet that the time stamps might be wrong!
Maybe if I watch True Detective and read this at the same time I would understand it.
“Strange things are afoot at the Circle K” —Ted “Theodore” Logan.
I would have thought that time is wibbley-wobbely.
Was the second store a Circle-K? I suspect hacker or insider involvement.
Another consideration. Did the stores straddle a border of two time zones?
