Long about 9 pm I had a knock on the door, and it took some walk down my long driveway, I found a young woman well attired in a cocktail type black dress. She asked of me if I had a spare tire she could borrow and I looked out to behold a car blocking my driveway. With a negative response she then went on to contact my next door neighbor. He who was a retired federal agent informed me the young woman told him when he answered in the negative that her granny was coming, thanks though. Sure enough in 30 m minutes I see a gray headed person changing a tire with 2 young people standing there watching her. Heartening to know, there is still innocence to be found in these dark times in America.
I remember back in the day looking at a house I was considering buying but turned down. It had one, two-socket, two-pronged outlet per bedroom. That was normal up until about 1970 or so.
I had my current house built to my specifications. I have a dedicated 20 amp line from the panel to my den where my computer equipment lives.

Once, We looked at an empty house that was for sale and the neighbor had run a long extension cord to one of the outdoor outlets at the vacant house!

Not innocence It’s more like ignorance
