Introducing Sailor El

For those not familiar with Japanese, Sedine’s exclamation in panel two is “What?!”

Well at least there’s one girl on the strip who deserves to be Sailor Moon, the others have a lot to learn about “never turning your back on your friends” as the intro goes.

Wait did Ellie buy that costume at the store or did she always have it? In which case she’s been holding out on us! XD

…Wow, that’s…. not a bad look for her, actually.

So Bea’s going with the real Martha Stewart, not some made-up celebrity based on her? Like “Martha Graves Bakefield” a combination of Martha Stewart and Ruth Graves Wakefield, inventor of the chocolate chip cookie, with bake as the prefix for obvious reasons. Hey Wakefield did invent the chocolate chip cookie, in my opinion she should have gotten a Nobel Prize for that, a shame they don’t give those out in a culinary category.

Ellie makes an AWESOME Sailor Moon! (I thought she had Sailor Jupiter’s hairstyle at first, until I saw the other pair of odangos peeking out from behind her left wrist.) Great job, and thanks, Bea! ;-)

Ellie gets distracted but knows exactly what she wants buys it. avoids getting dragged into the Cult and gets home before anyone else. That is impressive.
