We had a son, age 15, who ran away for months. At 56, he’s one of the best people I know and has been for many years.

When they act like that – take them out to the garden and tell them to pick out all of the rocks – or if a gravel driveway – let them rake it to smooth the rocks out – they can come back in when their attitude improves… not only will their attitude change, but you will have a smooth driveway or a rock free garden…

I have never found pink to be soothing.

I would have thought barred and soundproofed would be better, That way the teens would not be loose to embarrass you.

Looks like my comment has been disappeared where I talked Connie’s 3 teenagers, her two step-daughters Molly and Gayle (whom we have not seen in long while) and Lawrence. The last we saw the step-daughters, Connie had a pretty terrible relationship with them and judging from her comments today, nothing much has changed there. I am a little surprised she thinks that way about Lawrence, who has usually been portrayed as a pretty good guy.
