That’s what you get when you refuse to let the syndicate turn your strip into a zombie. She could have lived forever as a mediocre eater of brains!

…AND a good new weight loss plan! Been packing on the lbs. since retiring, huh.

I thought what she really needed was a job…

By “new outfit,” I assume she means, “new comic strip.” Lio would be a good choice, of course, especially with her affinity for animals. Or maybe Scary Gary? It’s a nice quiet suburban life. Or if she wants a little adventure, I could see Cathy teaming up with Tip and Unity in Skin Horse.

Hey Lio, get Cathy cleaned up and use her to get Eva jealous. It will either get you a girlfriend or dead, which for you is a win/win situation.

She needs a new outfit? For that matter, so does Lio. He nearly always wears the same thing. As does Charlie Brown. As does Calvin. As does Dagwood, ad infinitum.

I’d like to miss Cathy but I stopped reading her years ago. I suspect her fans outgrew her.
