this isn’t one of those orbs where you give it a number and a color and it tells you who you’ll marry is it? Or wait… is it a magic 8 ball? Was Marigold trotting around a Mall gift shop?

We’ve met the Unicorn of Death. So I’m sure the Orb of Fortune is not what you would expect it to be.

I don’t suppose this is a shout-out to “Inherit the Earth: Quest for the Orb.”
If that’s anything like the WHEEL of fortune, I wouldn’t mind being a “contestant”! :)
