Romney Blerg now he could bag ’em,

He could face shelves, he could ring.

But when he pushed in one hundred twelve carts all at once,

Rodney Blerg became the cart pushin’ king Lordy Lord,

He became the cart pushin’ king.

I’ve seen these guys LIFT the last ten carts to steer a long line!

And then one of shoppers yelled out to Romney, “hey, some of us might want to use one of those carts, can you hurry up!”

The story behind the name Horseheads is amazing. Look it up or perhaps Charles Farmrhere will regale us. We live a bit North in Schuyler, Cty.

One store with a really large parking lot has a powered cart for the cart herder.

The celebration took a dark turn when they found a bag lady crushed in one of the carts.

Wasn’t that a very popular song by the Oak Ridge Boys??

Excitement in Chemung County, New York used to be watching paint dry. The parking lots in Horseheads have kicked that up quite a bit.

And those carts truly have a mind of their own. Once they get going, they pretty much go where they please. Customers don’t pay attention (even those without cellphones). I’ve had to jump in front of a herd to keep it from running over inconsiderate customers.

Well there you go. Olympics for everyone. Lets do it. Down hill carts. Luge Carts. Triathlon in carts. The mind boggles at the new sporting opportunities.

I once saw a cart wrangler with a string of carts miss the door and crashed them in plate glass.

Hero? So all those people don’t mind waiting to get inside to do their shopping?

Unsung hero, everyone who has ever had or does this job. I like the European and Aldi’s cart management. You have to put in a quarter to unlock a cart & return it to get your quarter back.

I remember many years ago having to do this. Store was on a hill and parking lot wasn’t perfectly level. Winter in Milwaukee added the snow and ice ridges to make it even more fun.
