That 0.1% does seem pretty low. (Does the Pentagon allow its staff to play other Pokémon games: Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver on regular Game Boy; Crystal on Game Boy Color; Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald on Game Boy Advance… Sun and Moon on Nintendo DS?)

If Picasso is at the beach and draws in the sand his greatest masterpiece…and then the tide comes in and washes it away before anyone else has a chance to see it….

Did Picasso’s greatest masterpiece exist? Does art require an observer [other than the artist] to be art? Is it like a tree falling in a forest with no one to hear the sound?

When your paintings are as simplistic as his, it’s easy to crank em out en masse.

And over 90% of what ole Pablo made is nothing but vastly overrated and overpriced trash!

I don`t know if this statement is true but if it is there must be many days of the year that on one is born on.

Well, most of the staff there are janitors and basket weavers. Couldn’t let the janitors and basket weavers have some fun, could they.

I think Picasso had studio apprentices who actually made a lot of things he designed then he’d sign them. That is why some things, like vases, were numbered since many of the same design were created.

Same birthdays: Twins up the odds! My HS grad. class had 4 sets of twins out of a class of 54 students.

It’s comforting to know that the Pentagon staff is playing video games all day at work. I’ll sleep better tonight.

    His full name was:

Pablo Diego José Francisco de Paula Juan Nepomuceno María de los Remedios Cipriano de la Santísima Trinidad Ruiz

He adopted his mother’s Italian surname Picasso because as he explained:

“[Picasso] was stranger, more resonant, than Ruiz … Do you know what appealed to me about that name? Well, it was undoubtedly the double s, which is fairly unusual in Spain. Picasso is of Italian origin, as you know. And the name a person bears or adopts has its importance. Can you imagine me calling myself Ruiz? Pablo Ruiz? Diego-José Ruiz? Or Juan-Népomucène Ruiz?”

There was nothing good on TV, so what else was Picasso to do?

I married a man who shared my birthday (he was a year older). We were going to get married on our birthday but his mother was pregnant and due around that date so we moved it up 6 weeks. She had the baby on our birthday. Then, my nephew was born on our birthday. One large sheet cake with 4 names and a LOT of candles after a decade!!

That seems about right, when we had around 120 employees, There were 3 total that had the same birthday as myself. Of course many others had no one else.

There are concentrations of birthdays approximately nine months after holidays. [I think I was conceived on July 4, for example.] Other clusters happen about nine months after power disruptions… no TV, no light for reading, etc., so fewer distractions. More conceptions on weekends and seasonally in the spring.

So there are factors that give push to the statistic cited.
