    That would be the problem… they didn’t smell like pee, but they needed to.

    I wonder if the fire hydrant makers do anything special to make sure their hydrant paint is pee resistant?

    So who was the first dog to christen this particular one? BTW, here we refer to them as fire hydrants. Separated by a common language.

    The first dog to pee on one did so because the hydrant stands out from the surroundings. Later dogs pee on it because it stands out from its surroundings and smells like pees.
