This comment has nothing to do with this strip. Just wanted to say that when I took our dog Maggie out to P&P in our rear courtyard I found two raw boneless pork chops that someone had placed there. We suspect that they might contain poison—a sick mind behind it. We live in an apartment building. My wife and I live in a seniors building and pets are allowed—there are a lot of dogs as well as cats. Has anyone encounterd this kind of thing before. We want the meat tested. There is one crazy guy who could do something like this. It is really disturbing…

For once I can cheer for the squirrel!

Sometimes these comics are completely mysterious. For example today, why is Louie sitting some 5 feet away from the tree but he is completely ignoring the chatty squirrels? A couple of weeks ago it took two strong men of the crew to hold Louie back from lunging at the squirrels.

Gives Louie a break from those nasty squirrels.

Common ground for Louie and Scratch? The squirrel is from down the rabbit hole.
