Why not a simpler book like, say, Dr. Seuss’ “Hop on Pop”?
Does anyone still push for speed-reading anymore? I remember a joke: “I just finished speed-reading ‘War and Peace’. I think it’s about Russia.”
In English we had to read the book “The Bear” by William Faulkner and those that read very far had the same expression.
Some books don’t seem to be for a purpose.
