Apparently, the mailman had already had a bad experience.

Several years ago there a had been trouble going on in our neighborhood, and one day my wife told me there was a strange man in our yard

She says I looked like a Rottweiler as I was going out the door

Turns out the property management company had forgot to tell us a man was coming to clean out our gutters

Hope I didn’t scare him too much

Adam’s more of a mutt than a purebred.

I thought Scooby and Marmaduke were the only Great Danes to say, “Gotcha.”

Obviously this did not happen in Florida.. where you would have gotten shot.

Well he skulk around looking guilty.

More of a big Norwegian than a Great Dane, but I take your meaning.
