Well, it’s true. We don’t really need all that much. But we all prefer to blow our wad on the sparkly stuff with flashy advertising before covering all of our real needs.
I am now convinced that “Lio” takes place across multiple alternate universes. Not only does he (or the world) keep coming back from death, not only does he always have money to burn despite a jobless-looking dad, but here we see him appearing to care only about needs when he normally indulges in gags and whatnot.
