Remember last week, when someone said that people don’t die in this strip? Also who’s Matthew..? I feel like I should know this.

First comment and who is Matthew?

i’ve got a few guesses on who Matthew is: her husband, father, or even a pet.

Is matthew czerwiki’s husband? The one she is always complaining about?

You know, at first I thought Matthew was her son, or her brother, or something like that… But looking at it now, I’m willing to bet Matthew was the heroine’s love interest in her most recent romance novel.

I’m guessing Matthew is one of the characters in the novels she reads.

I just hope the end to this story arc pays off because right now I’m not amused.

I’m guessing that Matthew is one of the characters from the pink book on the table.

Matthew is likely a character from her book, but my first thought was her classroom’s pet gerbil.

Hmmm…….this is an interesting arc. The way this cliffhanger brings us into play in wanting to find out who this new character is, yet dosen’t make sense…….6/10 for this particular comic for today.

I don’t know why I did a 6/10 rating today, but I do that I have a……Quick Question-

All you who said it was her son I am guessing are correct. I doubt it is her husband or a romance novel character. Here are the reasons:

Why it is not a romance novel character

1. Nate HATEs the romance novels, so why would he act concerned?

2. Who would get that worked up over a ROMANCE NOVEL!!!? (Yeah, she does get worked up, but this? No…)

1. She addressed him as “Matthew”, not Mr. Czerwicki or My husband. Why, all of the sudden would she call him, “Matthew”?

2. We would have found out his name is Matthew sometime in the strip.

Why it is not a pet

1. We would hear about her having a pet

2. Nate would not act like that if her pet died.

So, those are my reasons why those theories are not true. I am guessing the son died. (I am not 100%, though.)
