Future version of Lio collecting tax at the other end?

Might as well go back to your own time, Lio… praying there isn’t a toll booth there.

That smile that Lio had in the first panel disappeared fast!

Flying cars? 70 years ago they promised we would have them 19 years ago, and we STILL don’t have them now!!!

My mind is in a twist as to how that second (exit) got there.

Time to head back to the present, Lio.

That toll seems reasonable. But I doubt Mio has that many quarters on him.

Mmmm… Time Travel toll equal to a gallon of gas in just a few years.

I hate to be cynical, but I have a feeling all futures are going to be dystopias……

Since the exit mechanism is identical to Lio’s machine, it must mean that he invented it. Doesn’t Lio get a free pass for that distinction?

Last week this future day was $147.50. Must have to do with that butterfly I saw flapping it’s wings.

I’ve traveled forward in time on many occasions. It’s going back that’s the problem.

That’s why travelers to the future never make it back – too many exorbitant tolls!

Good thing he got there before inflation…

That robocop collecting the time-travel tolls appears not nearly so formidable as the Detroit version in the movie franchise. Try the equivalent of dine-and-dash, kiddo! They have nothing on you!
