heart: Mr. burgess, we really like you as our english teacher, but on this one thing we disagree.....graphic novels are fun. graphic novels are sad. graphic novels are full of drama, great writing, and made-up and true stories! Everything "real" books have! we love our graphic novels, and we're going to keep reading them...because reading graphic novels is really reading! As stan lee used to say: 'nuff said!

All that effort rather makes up for forgetting the assignment and throwing something together at the last minute…

RIP Stan Lee. The guy who created Marvel Comics and who was in every Marvel movie ever made. As he used to say “Excelsior”

Okay, you’re reading the words, but you are stunting your imagination. You are also allowing others to dictate what visions you have.

Stan Lee was a remarkable man. He was smart enough to listen to his wife when he was on the verge of giving up. And thanks to her advice, he created an entire universe. Even though we just lost him not too long ago, his universe is still going strong.
’Nuff said.

Comic books. The problem is that they remove the requirement to use your imagination.
Words without pictures forces you to use your mind to paint the picture.

This seems like a lot of effort to appease a character we haven’t seen. What is this, Peanuts?
