So Sam’s plan is to just straight-up tell Hubbs despite his promise to Sedine not to tell them? If so this plan does not deserve the build-up from yesterday.

This can only be good news; “Hubbs you’re actually dating the girl of your dreams Ellie Gardner”. Even better news; “She really likes dumb guys, so she’ll be with you forever!”. XD

You know off the bat he could have just given Ellie one of Sedine’s dresses saying Sedine wanted her to have some new “date clothes” showing Ellie’s femininity, or by tape recording Sedine talking about this whole farce, or even by casually bringing up how Sedine loaned Ellie clothes that look exactly like what “Al” wears. There’s a lot of great plans that could have been used.

I guess Sam cannot actually do plausible deniability.

We don’t know if Al follows hockey, but we know Sam is on thin ice if he messes with Sedine’s prime directive. Hubbs wear the patch, yet it is Sam who’ll be toast if Sedine catches wind of his loose talk.
