Back about 20 years ago, I was co-hosting a presentation on computer technology at the local library to the general public (back then MS-Office was a big thing and even paper manuals existed).
The presentation was being projected onto a wall. As my co-presenter gave her lecture she said things like, “And then click on this button …” and highlighted it with her laser pointer. At the same time, I clicked on the button at the computer.
People wanted to know what kind of magic technology we had that could activate a control by highlighting its projection.

It’s not a stone; it’s a grey Maine Coon cat who refuses to relinquish his toy.
