Reminds me of a couple of stories of jackasses in the desert. (1) Some moron was going around the Arizona desert shooting saguaro cacti for fun. One such cacti, mortally wounded, toppled over on top of the guy, killing him. (2) Some sadistic morons caught a rabbit and thought that it would be fun to strap a hand grenade to it and watch what happened. What happened was when they released the rabbit, it ran away and hid under their brand-new pick-up, inadvertantly performing a delightful kamikaze action in his final moments. I don’t know with certainty that either story is true (I’m pretty sure that the first story was indeed true), but such thoughts of poetic justice are delightful nonetheless.
