Never considered the teacher’s perspective. Charming.

They almost seem humans. To bad they are teachers.

Not sure whether I am happy or sad to see that Mr. Allison altered Mr. Bostwick’s fate from the original strip. Either way, though, he is in a better place.

Well, Bostwick made out better this this time.

Mrs. Lord’s dialogue in panel 6 was originally “Look at Mr. Bostwick! He died this morning! He was only 43!”. And instead of a protective chrysalis, it was… well, his dead body sitting on a chair. (We’re shown the back of his head, but there is a cute little skull floating around him. Like when cartoon characters get beat up, and there’s little stars and/or birds floating around their head. Only it’s a skull, because he’s dead.)

(Guess the original was a tad too grim for an all-ages publication, maybe. Suffice it to say, don’t ever expect to see the Bostwick Butterfly emerge from that cocoon.)

Also, Sprink’s desperate attempt to escape Ryan’s exuberance in panel 3 never fails to amuse.

Just about everything in today’s comic is absurd, and I’m loving it. :D

    OFSTED…

The Office for Standards in Education: a government department that checks educational standards in schools and colleges in England and Wales.
