Make that “exspandex”

“I hate crime so much, I’m going to dress in Spandex”

If you listen closely, you can actually hear every Stephen Colbert voiced superhero say this.

Ooooo there goes the S. P. A. N. D. E. X.

spandex is the only crime here. (in some states, any thing over a size 2 is a felony)

So now you’re going to not only look silly, but also stink.

I have a nice warm flannel bathrobe that feels good over my underwear when I’m at home in the winter. In the summer, not so much.

Ruben needs to put together a group of his “superheroes”. It worked for the Avengers and The Justice League. I’m looking forward to it Ruben.

And don’t forget ‘smoking jackets’ I bought one as a BOGO with a suit in Hong Kong back in 1960 and I still have it in my closet and still have never worn it.

I think its kind of an upper-class modesty type of thing. It just wouldn’t do to have the servants see their betters walking around before bed in their “night clothes” hence covering up with a robe. (Plus I would think back in the days before central heating, it would’ve kept you warm)
