Been doing a lot of grandkid sitting recently. Mommies (and daddies) have been catching up on some much-needed sleep. Can’t say that I’ve been hating the time with the kids, either. {^¿^}
I’ve never been able to nap. Even as a child: if I wanted to stay up to watch something special, I’d have to fake a nap to do it…but couldn’t really do it. When I was pregnant with our first, everyone promised me that, once the baby arrived, I would nap. That “baby” is now 16, her little sister is 14…and I STILL never napped.
Little ones have SO much energy. . .I remember when I switched from teaching fifth grade to second grade. . .the seven-year-olds were NEVER still. . .even their feet swung under the desks when they were doing seat work. . .
