Today’s strip is a little bit funny , even if it has extra panels , our Hero Mr Andrew Capp ’s use for a broom can pass for a small joke :o{ right? have a nice day Cappers , ours should be busy bur not hectic I hope.
I just don’t understand the concept of ‘unneeded panels.’ That’s like complaining about someone telling the joke AND the punchline: ‘All we need is the punchline.’
I’m thankful we can get the extra panels in. They improve the humor.
Just below where I’m typing at the moment is a picture: Andy Capp at 50, with Andy holding a full glass out, and he and another guy with their mouths open – talking at the same time? Yelling at each other? Singing?
If I studied these as much as some of you do, who knows, that might be all I need to remember the preceding panels. But I’d still need those other panels, in memory or on ‘paper,’ for this panel to be funny.[This comment is just so the artists know that some of us actually want the ‘unneeded’ panels. We just don’t say so very often, but feel strongly about it.]
Andy doing housework? How unrealistic! On another note, saw a bird carrying a long piece of moss in it’s beak. I think it must have been building a nest. Also saw a rabbit.

Try a much higher place, Flo, where not even a broom can reach your purse.

Did she PAY you for housework? Because you obviously could afford that beer!

Well, speaking about it openly like that can be therapeutic. Especially at a bar (saloon, pub).

I think I own a broom, I just don’t remember where I hid it.
