Cruise ships dump their trash in the ocean as well as merchant ships etc. We need to get the seas cleaned up. We used to pick up syringes off our beach in Fort Morgan , Alabama.
The vast majority of plastic/trash in the seas comes from third world countries who use their rivers as trash dumps. We are NOT GUILTY! However; my guess is that it is going to be up to us to find a solution to their problem, because they are certainly not going to. (end rant)
