The “date” seems to be going off without a hitch, I wonder if the moustache will come up again, certainly it wouldn’t have been introduced in this story only to made irrelevant?
Hubbs thinks “Al” is a genuine “manly-man”, Hubbs may run away from women but what if he has a female relative he tries to fix “Al” up with, which Ellie thinks is Hubbs trying to bring another woman into their “relationship”. I look forward to seeing all the ways that can go wrong. XD
Hubbs has been seen practicing a lot and hasn’t sang that anthem, can’t possibly be that important. Then again at least singing is a date-like activity.
Good hands, Ellie. “Baby Duke” won’t touch the ground with these two in tandem. I’m puzzled as to why Ellie would don the fake mustachio. She thinks Hubbs thinks she is a “plain” gal. She dialed down the “boom-boom” so he would not be intimidated. Wearing the fake ‘stash implies she thinks Hubbs thinks she is a he, which he does. She does not know that Hubbs is utterly confused as to her gender. I’d hate to think that I am now as confused as these two. Did Roy simply confuse Ellie into believing the ’stash was an aphrodisiac for all occasions?
