    Good morning all!

I’ve found that most of the cell scammers call from the same area code as your phone. Since my phone is not from the area, and I know that the “local” calls are all scams.

Good afternoon johnny and Akenta! Yes, we get calls from numbers of real people in this area. But it’s not them, it’s scammers. How they can use someone’s number and name and get away with it is beyond me. Modern technology should be able to put a stop to these spammers but they can’t.

Anything long distance gets blocked or deleted, especially 800 numbers. If they are legit, they will find a way to contact me. Or leave a message. Also, robocalls always end after four or five rings on my land line. On my cell, I can see who is calling, so it is not a problem. Sometimes my phone tells me it is spam, so I block it.Good evening Akenta, Johnny and Dry.
